OUR INSTRUCTORS
Our Pilates Teacher Training Program is designated by the Private Training Institute Branch of British Columbia and is one of a kind! It is based on the Classical Pilates repertoire and infused with Franklin Method Conceptions. By the end of the program you will acquire a strong knowledge base of body mechanics, Pilates anatomy, basic natural functions of the body as well as a strong understanding of the Pilates Method on all pieces of equipment. Upon graduation of the program you will receive a Diploma and you will be fully qualified to teach the full level 5 Pilates repertoire and therefore be able to assist other trainees going through our program.
TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMS
We offer two comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Programs at Pilates from The Center - Intermediate and Advanced. Combined, the two programs offer over 800 hours of movement education. Both training programs are based on the Classical Pilates Method, infused with Franklin Method concepts.
Upon completion of the Intermediate Diploma program, you will be a fully qualified Pilates Instructor and Movement Educator with the skills required to teach the full Level 3 Classical Pilates repertoire on all Pilates equipment.
Upon completion of the Advanced Diploma program, you will be a fully qualified Pilates Instructor and Movement Educator with the skills required to teach the full Level 5 Classical Pilates repertoire on all Pilates equipment.
The programs will educate you in body mechanics and functional movement, anatomy, and the Classical Pilates Method on Reformer, Mat, Chair, Pole and Barrel equipment.
